We’ve just dropped some shiny new updates for Modula Lite and Modula Pro! Our developers have been coding like caffeinated squirrels to bring you these fantastic new features, fixes, and improvements. Here’s what’s hot off the press:
Modula Lite 2.9.0
- Added: BnB-like gallery layout upsell setting.
We have added a new gallery type for our users in Modula Pro. This helps get the word out. - Added: Image option to hide the title.
Now, you can make those image titles disappear like magic directly from the image settings. Presto! Gone! - Added: Search gallery by id.
You can now search for galleries by ID. Because who has time to scroll, am I right? - Added: Filter galleries admin list table by gallery type.

We moved the body_class filter to a higher priority to ensure proper lightbox functionality even when users add their own custom filters. - Fixed: Error with Elementor theme builder.
We didn’t get along with the Elementor theme builder, but that’s no longer the case! We’ve squashed that bug and are now really good friends. - Fixed: No gallery preview in Gutenberg editor.
The “Where’s my gallery preview?!” crisis in Gutenberg has been resolved. Previews are back and ready for action.
Modula Pro 2.7.5
- Added: Send an email with the license key in case the user forgot it.
Forgot your license key? No worries—we’ve got your back. We’ll send it straight to your inbox faster than you can say, “Oops, I forgot!” - Changed: The Lightbox backdrop was hiding with delay(also flickering on mobile) on close.
We taught the lightbox backdrop to vanish gracefully without that annoying flicker on mobile. It’s practically a magic trick. - Changed: Fancybox mobile double click to also work with External URLs.
Fancybox’s mobile double-click feature now works with external URLs because clicking should be fancy, no matter where it leads. - Changed: “Allow Swiping” lightbox setting is on by default.

Ever wanted your galleries to look like they just returned from a stylish BnB retreat? Well, now they can with our fancy new BnB-like gallery layout. Your galleries will be more “Instagrammable” than ever! - Added: Image hide title setting also hides lightbox title.
The “hide title” setting now also hides the title in the lightbox because sometimes less really is more. Keep it clean, folks! - Fixed: Copy caption on double tap no longer working.
The double-tap caption copy was misbehaving, but with a bit of attention and fixing it is now working as intended.
