The AI Credits system is a simple and efficient way to manage your image optimization using Modula AI. Depending on the plan you purchase, you will receive a set number of AI credits. These credits are used to optimize images in your Modula galleries.
Before using your AI credits, you must activate your Modula AI license key. This ensures that your credits are recognized and can be used for image optimization.
We’ll explain how credits are allocated and used, and how you can purchase additional credits when needed.
How AI Credits Work

New Purchase
If you make a new purchase, AI credits will be assigned to your license key once the transaction is completed.
To access them, go to My Account > Downloads on our website, where you’ll find your Modula AI API Key along with the number of credits you have.

Upgrading Your Plan
If you upgrade your plan, the AI credits from your previous plan will be added to your new plan, alongside any new credits that come with the upgraded plan, and you will continue using the credits from both plans.

Renewing Your Subscription
When you renew your subscription, you will receive the new AI credits for your renewed plan, and these will be added to the credits you had left from your previous subscription.

Existing Premium Users Before the Release of Modula AI
If you were a premium user before we released Modula AI, you’ll need to visit your account on our site > Downloads > Modula AI API Key and click Generate API Key to get started. This will generate the license key and assign the correct amount of credits based on your purchased plan.
To activate it, you need to go to your WordPress dashboard > Modula > Settings > Modula AI. Paste the API key into the API KEY field and click Save API Key.

Expiration of Subscription
Even if your subscription expires and you don’t renew it, you can still use any credits you have remaining. You can still buy additional credits anytime, even if your subscription has expired.

Purchasing Additional Credits
To purchase more credits, simply visit My Account > Downloads, and click on Purchase More Credits. Select the desired number of credits, complete the purchase, and the credits will be added to your account after the transaction is completed.
